Anthropologie/AG Fashion Show

The lovely ladies at Anthropologie in Fashion Island hosted an AG fashion show on Feb 3rd. Meagan Carlberg(our sister and the store's visual manager) and Dayna Mance (the store manager) spearheaded the evening along with Rob and Peggy from AG. The evening was a huge success with Antrhopologie ladies modeling... and over 100 of their most esteemed clients attending and the show. Many of the attendees stayed after to shop, drink champagne and eat homemade mini cupcakes by Anthrolpolgie's very own Lauren Lowen. Sounds like our kind of night! xo, mi & mo

Melissa & Mike's Engagement Session

It's easy to see why Melissa and Mike are a perfect match! Saying they're made for each other is an understatement. Laughing comes easy to the two of them, and they're laughter is infectious; they have us cracking up non-stop...  What didn't have us cracking up was the weather! We had already rescheduled their engagement session twice due to impending rain. Then, about 5 days before their session, mo jinxed it with an email saying something to the effect of, "well, we're on for sunday, the weather calls for 0% chance of rain!" Fast forward to the morning of their engagement session, we check the weather and smack dab in the middle of a sunny day, there is a chance of rain during our shoot!  (Here's the part where we tell you that mo did a double jinx by washing her truck the day before). So, of course... it rained! Lucky for us, Mike and Melissa didn't mind standing in the pouring rain under an umbrella for a portion of their shoot and then dodging rain by standing under awnings and covered doorways the rest of the time... They actually seemed to be having fun, despite it all. Proof to us that it doesn't matter where they are or what the weather may bring... as long as they're together, things will work out just fine!  Congrats to Melissa and Mike. We're looking forward to May 21st (and we're not going to talk about the weather!) xo, mi & mo

Though many miles and years between us have passed, it was such a treat to see Heather! We spent a good part of our childhood seeing Heather almost every day... she was our next door neighbor, not to mention our 1st choice for a babysitter. Towards the beginning of July we covered an incredible event for Inform Ventures (http://www.inform-ventures.com)... This was one of many events that Inform Ventures spearheaded throughout the country this summer for Lexus. The night in Los Angeles was a rocking party chock full of celebrities, a hip Hollywood crowd and an original event: a debate between a proponent and a skeptic of climate change, moderated by Andy Samberg. The event was aptly titled: "The Darker Side of Green" (http://www.darkersideofgreen.com).... What a perfect way for Lexus to introduce the CT 200h premium compact hybrid to North America! We're a bit behind on our posting... No better time than the present to catch up! We met so many awesome people and had a great time at the TreePeople / Pregnancy Awareness Month event that took place on May 2nd. The Best Monday!

I don't know if Mondays get better than this...
In the morning, I got a knock on my door with a surprise delivery sent from Mi! A box of S'mores Muffins! http://gottahavesmore.com/
I was in heaven! (Do I have the best business partner/sister, or what!?!?!?!) I definitely opted to eat the muffins for breakfast (over the boring ole bowl of oatmeal I had just made). And for everyone out there looking for a gift for mom, I definitely suggest these delicious S'more morsels!

Then a few hours later, my super-duper fun niece and I went to the Santa Monica Pier. Lyric is the best little buddy to go exploring with... Her exuberance and excitement is contagious... and we were over the moon at the tippy-top of the ferris wheel. (Sorry, no pics from the ferris wheel... we were holding hands!) xo, (mi) & mo

Whenever we are asked to photograph a birthday party, we are reminded of what's really important: celebrating life with family and friends.

So, when we were asked to photograph Breck's 40th birthday party, we were honored & excited! The party was seamlessly put together by Breck's beautiful wife, Georgia. And the night was filled with love, laughter & many toasts to 40 great years...

We were honored to be a part of Fair Fund's "Bittersweet Chocolate & Champagne" fundraiser last Thursday, April 15th. Fair Fund is a non-profit organization. One of their missions is to stop sex trafficking of youth around the world. A Day At The Beach

We photographed the extended Rodriguez family last year for the holidays... And we were so thrilled when Pam and her boys asked us to do a photoshoot of just them. We revisited the same beach, but the once sandy and serene shore was a rocky obstacle course full of kids and families on spring break. We soon, however, got lost in the world of Cole and his parents... and we could have been on a secluded island in paradise. This family has such an incredible connection with each other and it is obvious that Cole is a loved and grounded little dude. And did we mention that they're a ton of fun.

Early last week we were at The Treehouse Social Club (http://www.thetreehousesocialclub.com) on Robertson Ave. for some Spring Photo Sessions with our rose wall backdrop made from paper we recycled... If you haven't been to The Treehouse Social Club yet, you gotta check it out! It's a Treehouse heaven for the kiddos (and the parents, too! We always have a blast when we're there!). Otto's Third Birthday

He celebrated his birthday last weekend at Travel Town in Griffith Park! There were antique train cars to explore, a train ride around the park & plenty of little trains for the kiddos to play with. Otto epitomizes cool... The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree! Dave and Dotty are awh-some and they sure know how to throw a party!

Jonah's 4th Birthday Party

Happy 4th Birthday to one of our favorite little guys, Jonah!
He celebrated at Adventure City in Anaheim with his best-est friends.

When we turned around and saw that Jonah was on the biggest rollercoaster in the park with his dad, we were quite impressed with his bravery! Jonah is super sweet and a totally cool 4 year old dude... plus he's surrounded by family and friends that ROCK!
