It's easy to see why Melissa and Mike are a perfect match! Saying they're made for each other is an understatement. Laughing comes easy to the two of them, and they're laughter is infectious; they have us cracking up non-stop... What didn't have us cracking up was the weather! We had already rescheduled their engagement session twice due to impending rain. Then, about 5 days before their session, mo jinxed it with an email saying something to the effect of, "well, we're on for sunday, the weather calls for 0% chance of rain!" Fast forward to the morning of their engagement session, we check the weather and smack dab in the middle of a sunny day, there is a chance of rain during our shoot! (Here's the part where we tell you that mo did a double jinx by washing her truck the day before). So, of course... it rained! Lucky for us, Mike and Melissa didn't mind standing in the pouring rain under an umbrella for a portion of their shoot and then dodging rain by standing under awnings and covered doorways the rest of the time... They actually seemed to be having fun, despite it all. Proof to us that it doesn't matter where they are or what the weather may bring... as long as they're together, things will work out just fine! Congrats to Melissa and Mike. We're looking forward to May 21st (and we're not going to talk about the weather!) xo, mi & mo
