Valentine Sessions Part 1

Love was in the air this weekend at our Valentine Sessions. We're so lucky to have the chance to photograph such awesome families.

Here's a sneak peek for Emily, Jonah and Jonah's little brother... (who will be here in just a couple months!)

Do we have the best job or what?

Jen and Damien + 1

Jen and Damien are the couple that remind you of what it's like to be in LUV! They are beautifully natural with each other & so silly at the same time. And Jen is just the cutest pregnant little lady. Only 2 more weeks to go & it's gonna be a whole new world!

Jen & Damien are gonna be such great parents & we're so excited to meet their little one soon!

We HEART Love!

We have a hunch we're not the only ones who went a little stir crazy this past week with the rain. So when we woke up and saw the sun shining... we whisked Mi's little girl, GG, to the park. Our arms were loaded with our camera, light, heart garland,  a lollipop bribe & our cute little model...

RULE #1: when taking photos of kids... you MUST have a bribe (and if that bribe doubles as a prop, even better!)

RULE #2: make it fun! (We played silly games with GG to distract her and make her laugh... Cuz let's face it, when you ask a 3 year old to look at the camera & smile, it rarely happens... You gotta trick em into it!)

After 10 minutes of shooting GG, we got these photos and were inspired to revise our Valentine's Session:

New Date: Saturday, January 30th
Location: Park in La Verne
Time: Call us & we'll figure out a time that doesn't conflict with everything else you've got goin on!
Goodies: 8x8 Storyboard & 1 set of wallets (8 photos of 1 image / (value of $160!)
How much: $100 plus tax ($60 savings! BOOM!) Please note 50% deposit required before shoot / balance due on day of shoot.
Sign me up: contact Mo (aka Kara) via email or cell

Let Us Spiff Things Up for 2010!

Happy New Year, Everyone!
We have a good feeling about 2010.
There's something nice about a new year... a fresh start...

And that's what we're doing with Point Media Live: www.pointmedialive.com  We're helping CEO, Angelo Giuliano, spiff up the branding of his company. Point Media Live advertises concerts for prominent artists. Angelo wanted his business card to look like one of his advertisements.

So we took this photo:

And then Mi worked her graphic design magic and came up with this:

We had Justin, who works with Point Media Live, put on this cowboy hat as a lark. We all ended up loving the photo. In the end, we don't know if Justin is going to go for the country look...

But how could we not show him this option?

Have a great first day of 2010!
